CHIEF EXECUTIVE
Christina began her social work career in Residential care and has worked at every level within this sector, with a particular emphasis on looked after children and care leavers over the past ten years. Christina has set up and managed a range of settings including Children’s Homes, Semi Independent Homes, Community Initiatives and Specialist Solo Services for Children and young people. Christina is committed to acting in the best interests of every child and young person placed at Restoring Lives; and will ensure we provide them with opportunities to lead a happy and fulfilling life. She has a proven track record as a change manager and is an effective strategic leader.
ISAAC DARKO
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Isaac has a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience in managing residential care and supported Living settings for looked after children and young people. He has done a range of different roles and is currently responsible for all operational services for Restoring Lives, as well as development and placements. He ensures that Restoring Lives provide excellent care to every child and young person we are given responsibility for.
GENEVIEVE AMA BOAKYE
COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPIST
Genevieve is our BABCP accredited cognitive behavioural therapist specialised in treating:
Abuse – Emotional/Physical,Anger Issues,Anxiety/Panic,Bereavement,Body Dysmorphic disorder ,Chronic Pain/Pain Management,Depression,Obsessive Compulsive DisorderPhobias,Post-Natal Depression/Difficulties,PTSD,Relationships,Self Esteem,Self Harm,Stress Management
STAFF TEAM
We have a committed and passionate staff team equipped with the necessary qualities and experience, with whom each child and young person can begin to form and develop more secure attachments and relationships, perhaps for the first time in their lives.
Our staff have been through our strict Safer Recruitment process upon appointment to the team. We pride ourselves on our area of expertise and hold Level 3 NVQ/ QCFs at a minimum. Staff participate in regular safeguarding training to keep up to date with standards required for supporting children and young people in care.
