We endeavour to treat our children and young people as individuals, empower them with a strong sense of self and uphold their dignity during their most vulnerable time. We provide a genuine, caring, nurturing, and safe environment, with a committed and passionate staff team equipped with the necessary qualities, attitude, aptitude and experience, with whom each child and young person can begin to form and develop more secure attachments and relationships, perhaps for the first time in their lives
We offer a model of care that is underpinned by a person-centred approach in all aspects of our work. We are committed to providing the social, emotional, recreational and academic support that our children and young people need to fulfil their potential. We provide each young person with positive role models, boundaries and support, and expose them to the concept of community and responsibility with the aim of preparing each child/young person to achieve their potential.
We expect that many of our children will present with a variety of behavioural and psychological challenges, so we offer a safe and emotionally containing environment in which they can begin or continue to explore what they have experienced with the aim of restorative resolution.
