RESIDENTIAL CHILDERN's HOME
In our beautifully decorated, spacious and welcoming ‘Ofsted’ registered Homes, we support children and young people between the ages of 10 – 18 who have been adversely affected by circumstance and are emotionally vulnerable and sometimes challenging.
We provide excellent care to every child and young person we are given responsibility for. We believe in a model of care that will assess the needs of each child or young person, underpinned by good parenting principles support and accommodation. We recognise that children and young people have a diverse range of needs and we aim to meet those needs in a ‘person centred’ way.
The children have their say on decorating their bedrooms, deciding house rules and picking what’s on the menu each week. By empowering them to make decisions on issues that directly affect their lives, they feel more at home and positive about engaging with staff. Our children’s homes have between one and eight bed spaces for young people aged up to 18 years old. We take both planned and emergency referrals, and have built our services around our children and young people so that we maximise opportunity and minimise risk.
